We’ll explore these components and provide practical strategies for enhancing EF to improve personal and professional success.
Speaker Bio
Cat Evans is a seasoned ADHD coach and educator with nearly two decades of experience in adolescent development.
Prior to launching her coaching practice, Cat Evans Coaching, she enjoyed teaching and advising for Sora Schools as a Humanities Expert, where she won the Mission Award for her curriculum on executive functioning.
Before Sora, she excelled in leadership roles in high school and college settings, including as a Department Chair, Leader of Professional Learning, and faculty member. In these positions, she wrote and influenced curriculum in service of students’ diverse learning needs.
Cat has committed her career to advocating for students with neurodiverse minds, often serving as a safe space for students to unmask. She has championed equitable grading practices for a decade, working to create more inclusive classrooms.
Cat's expertise is enhanced by rigorous training from the ADHD Coaches Academy, accredited by the International Coaching Federation (ICF), which upholds the highest standards in coaching. Her educational background includes a Master's degree in English and Education, with additional training in positive psychology, listening skills, the neuroscience of ADHD, and executive function coaching.
As someone who was diagnosed with ADHD later in life, Cat brings a deeply personal understanding to her work. She leverages her professional knowledge with her own experiences to offer relatable and effective coaching to teens and their families.
Cat lives in Asheville, N.C., with her husband and son, where she is an advocate and resource for families navigating ADHD and executive function challenges.
