Sora Pods are small, local groups of Sora students who learn together in person each day while accessing Sora’s award-winning online curriculum and faculty.
What Is a Sora Pod?
Sora Pods are in-person learning communities formed by families who live in the same area. Students meet in a shared local space each day to work through Sora’s curriculum with peers, combining live online classes, project blocks, and independent learning time.
Sora supports families from day one—helping organize interest, onboard families, and guide Sora Pod setup to ensure students thrive socially and academically.

Increased Connection
Daily, in-person collaboration builds friendships, boosts engagement, and adds accountability—bringing Sora Home, Sora’s all-in-one platform for projects and progress tracking, to life through face-to-face discussion and teamwork.
In-Person Support
Sora Pods may designate a shared, on-site Learning Guardian—a parent, caregiver, or local educator to supervise and manage day-to-day logistics for students and families.
Structure with Flexibility
Flexible schedules bring live classes and independent work together in a shared, in-person learning experience—built on interdisciplinary learning, mastery-based assessment, and real-world projects led by Sora faculty.
Affordable Pricing
Pod families may qualify for a tuition discount up to 15%.
How to Start or Join a Sora Pod
1. Meet with the Admissions Team
Share your student’s needs, location, and goals.
2. Gather Local Interest
Invite nearby families to learn about Sora Pods and explore forming a group together. Sora will support prospective pods in hosting in-person or virtual events for interested families.
3. Enroll & Launch Your Sora Pod
Families complete the admissions process and receive a kickoff orientation for students and the Learning Guardian. Sora partners with you to finalize schedules, space setup, and Sora Pod operations.
