Meet High School Expert, Zack Boboth!
By Jonathan Oglesbee
This month’s Expert Spotlight shines on High School STEM Expert, Zack Boboth. Joining Sora last year, Zack came to Sora in the midst of many firsts. In January, he and his wife welcomed their first child into the world. They also moved to Rochester, NY to be closer to family and friends, and they purchased their first house. This has given Zack the opportunity to develop his home improvement skills and become a star YouTube watcher for tips and tricks.
As some of you may already know, Zack was born and raised in Pittsburgh, and he may possibly be the nicest Steeler fan on the planet. Growing up, Zack did Track & Field in High School, and that love of running has continued to this day. Zack loves hiking and still runs occasional 10Ks and half-marathons. In addition to his outdoor and running activities, Zack loves to read, ride his bike, and enjoys finding new recipes to cook.

During his time at Sora, Zack has really been struck by our Sora students and the larger community. He routinely praises the engagement, curiosity, creativity, and dedication of our students. On a professional level within Sora, he’s marveled at Sora’s culture where new ideas are met with “yes,” and “how can we support you?”
Finally, a few fun facts about Zack…he's a proficient juggler and likes to use those skills in some of his classes, notably the Joys of Juggling Expedition that ran in Cycle 1. Also, when he was in college, he was on a word association game show called, Chain Reaction. It was a show on the Game Show Network. He wouldn’t reveal how his team did, but said you can ask him about it.
